All outside rooms. Old hotel needs updating. Too expensive for what was there

The location is convenient, the beds were comfortable Booked 7 nights for vacation. 5 nights and 4 rooms later ... The first room was very damp and smelled like mildew. It had a broken down dehumidifier in the corner of the closet. On day 2 I moved to a nicer room, but the TV didn't work. The maintenance guy got it working (the maids apparently pull the wires and the electrical splitter ends up half unplugged). A 2nd visit from maintenance got the cable TV working (it too had wires that had been pulled out). Both rooms had bathroom doors that were physically larger than the door holes, so they could not. E closed. Don't expect any privacy when using the bathroom! After 3 nights in room #2 the hotel asked me to move again to avoid expected noise (the cable company was rewiring a portion of the hotel since the cable didn't work.) They forgot to save me a room, so when I came back at the end of the day they didn't have any more king beds available. The first room they gave me had a non-working desk lamp. They gave me the next room over, but its bedside lamp didn't work. (My whole vacation was beach and a safe comfortable place to read - so a working lamp didn't seem to much to ask for.) When I went back to the lobby I saw the Operations Manager, Matt, who oversaw several hotels for one owner. He tried switching light bulbs on the desk lamp in the first room but that didn't work. Then we tried replacing bulbs in the 2nd room. That worked. The tv didn't work - but I knew how to fix it based on the earlier room. After he left I realized that there was a puddle in the bathroom coming from a leak in the ceiling. I went back to the lobby to ask to be moved again the next day. On morning 5, Matt moved me to the America's Best Inn next door, which he manages and which had just been renovated. That room was nice until I found the bedbugs.... I didn't expect the Baymont Inn to be the Four Seasons, but I did expect a safe and comfortable place to stay. Shame on the owners and on Wyndham for such poor management.

Big rooms, comfortable bed, balconies were a nice touch, staff very courteous and friendly. No elevator, loooong hallways, idiots setting off fireworks at 1:00 AM.
Old and outdated rooms. Killed a brown recluse spider in bathroom
Convenient to the airport Friendly staff Good breakfast I reserved a king room but ended up with a double queen that was also a pet friendly room ,I was not traveling with pets. I turned down a queen room for a cheaper rate because I wanted a king bed.This room cost the same as the king ,I reserved thru hotels.com which was non refundable the manager did comp us a couple of drinks at the bar. I think I'll stay somewhere else next time
We loved the modern look of the rooms.
Easy check in Pleasant staff Clean comfortable room Breakfast buffet No one at the counter to check out early in the morning (6:00 am) Just had to drop the key cards on the desk and go didn't have time to wait . I can see a potential problem with that. Maybe put a secure box there if there won't be anyone at the desk at that time

The rooms were basic, but clean for what they were. Thanks for the help! It was currently under renovation which made getting around a little rough. The only real complaint I have is about the breakfast. It was worth every bit of free that I paid.
Staffs were very friendly and professional. Always greeted you with a smile. The king size bed was comfortable. The ice maker by our room didn't work so we had to go to the other building. And the pillows were very old and not comfy at all.

Close to freeway, bathrooms and room clean, staff friendly. If staying more than one night, the beds are hard and not comfortable, unless you like hard beds. Also our room had a leak coming from second floor bath, so the carpet outside our bathroom was soaked everyday. Nothing we couldn't live with and hopefully getting fixed.
The bed was nice and the TV worked properly The room was dirty and some aspects were dated and needed replacing
Everything was wonderful. The staff was very kind. Bed was comfy. Breakfast was very tasty. That I couldn't have stayed longer in florida! Seriously though, there was nothing I disliked about my stay.
I was double charged for my room. Called the hotel three times, they said call kayak. Called kayak they said call the hotel. Neither one fixed my issue. So my 100 dollar room went to 200. I will NEVER use kayak again or stay at this hotel. I was double charged at another hotel just last month and they took care of the issue within two days. This place refuses. I like the hotel and have stayed 5 times before to meet up with family while I am here training at NAS Pensacola. It was a good place. However, knowing they cannot resolve this means I will never go back. Please management, don't write a response either, just give me my money back.
The beds were great and the breakfast bar was ok but the carpet and hotel as an overall needs updating real bad I think they stopped shampooing the carpet and vacuuming the hallways the wallpaper is coming down in some places of the hotel. For the ones saying nicely redone carpets you must work there One staff member that was rude and unprofessional that worked at night, all I can say is if the door is left open to get coffee where the breakfast bar is or even get a bowl of dried cereal "don't" she will call you out in front of other guests hollering which is totally unprofessional not to be in the breakfast bar area. The manager I talked to the next day assured me she would never do that again but as for me ever going back I would not. There staff member just lost them buisness along with 3 other couples I know when I told them about my experience there
