Big rooms, comfortable bed, balconies were a nice touch, staff very courteous and friendly. No elevator, loooong hallways, idiots setting off fireworks at 1:00 AM.
I liked the location and comparatively reasonable rates. Some of the staff were friendly, although most unresponsive to problems incurred. Waited for a long while to check in (check-in process took 35 minutes+), even after calling for reservations several weeks in advance. The front desk was understaffed, while knowing that it was a big booking day (Blue Angels Performance). When I got to my room, I found obvious urine on the seat of the bathroom stool. Went to the phone to call the front desk, and the phone didn't work. Had to walk down to the front desk to tell them of the problems, and had to wait in line another half hour simply to be told that "Sorry, we are very busy and will put your needs on the long list." And yet, I was a paying customer who spent 10 hours driving, and just wanted to use the bathroom in the room I had already paid for. Left for four hours, and upon my return these items were fixed. When I pulled down the bedspread to sleep, it appeared that the sheets had not been changed ( wrinkled in a bunch near the center of the bed). Fortunately, it was a double room, so I was able to sleep in the other bed which didn't look so bad. Then the neighbors with multiple children staying in their room started in. They were loud and inconsiderate. I walked back to the front desk and politely requested a room change, and was told they had none left. Once again the only real response I received was the typical " Sorry" which by this time began to sound like "Your tough luck". Went back into my room to take a long awaited shower. looked up to see black mold on the bathroom ceiling.Where I come from, this is considered quite detrimental to a person's health. But what could I do? They were fully booked as were all other hotels in the area because of the air show. So I grab a towel for the towel rack, and a big ole cockroach jumps out. I scream, throw the towel to the floor and kill the insect. This time, I tried calling the front desk to at least have the smashed insect removed, but no one answered the phone. So. I went down the next day to get more towels and report the incident. The front desk attendant went back to the back three times, bringing our washcloths, bath mats, and hand towels for me to use after a shower. I explained that I was in need of BATH towels and none of the items he was bringing out would work. He calls someone else who disappears into the laundry room for about 5 min. and finally brings out two bath towels. Another insincere "Sorry" followed. By this time I'm tired, aggravated, and just want a shower Went back to the room, showered, dried my hair, etc., then comes the front desk guy knocking on the door with the towels I had requested over an hour before. It didn't end there, either! The last night of my four night stay, the keys didn't work leaving me to carry the bags I had with me all the way to the front desk. I commented to the new front desk attendant that incidents were occurring every day, and this was supposed to be a leisurely vacation for me. She told me she would report this to a manager. Never heard from on.
Room was quite nice, had very comfy sheets and the shower was even better! Water temperature was everything and more, breakfast wasn't as bad what you would think either. Overall my stay was worth the money. The sink knob was broken when I came in. Other than that, good hotel and nice staff.
Easy check in Pleasant staff Clean comfortable room Breakfast buffet No one at the counter to check out early in the morning (6:00 am) Just had to drop the key cards on the desk and go didn't have time to wait . I can see a potential problem with that. Maybe put a secure box there if there won't be anyone at the desk at that time
Convenient to the airport Friendly staff Good breakfast I reserved a king room but ended up with a double queen that was also a pet friendly room ,I was not traveling with pets. I turned down a queen room for a cheaper rate because I wanted a king bed.This room cost the same as the king ,I reserved thru hotels.com which was non refundable the manager did comp us a couple of drinks at the bar. I think I'll stay somewhere else next time

Cleanness of the hotel and room, Excellent buffet breakfast, and staff helpfulness, Insulation between floors needs careful thought when they build their next hotel. The guest above us ran his shower at 5.10 am which was very loud in our room.
Very friendly staff. Very clean establishment. Will definitely stay here again!!! Highly recommended. Only 20-30 minutes from pensecola beaches. Very easy to drive to and from. Absolutely nothing.
I loved how friendly and helpful the staff was. the rooms were great. and we were just minutes from anything we wanted to do.

The rooms were basic, but clean for what they were. Thanks for the help! It was currently under renovation which made getting around a little rough. The only real complaint I have is about the breakfast. It was worth every bit of free that I paid.
Pleasantly surprised! Found this deal online. Very close to restaurants (you can walk). We had a king bed (comfy) microwave, and fridge. I will definitely come back! Could update the bathroom.
Nothing!! Not one thing. The property was rundown and the clints were low life drug users that had me up looking out at my car all night!! They kept walking around outside talking loud and talking bad language.
I hadn't had that good night's sleep in a long time. I have arthritis. In the morning I wasn't stiff or sore and felt well rested. Location was confusing. A lot going on at the same place.

The rooms were clean, the staff was friendly and knowledgeable. They even provided a nice continental breakfast. The staff was helpful if a guest did not know how t d something NA
The Blue Angel Inn looked like it was brand new. Everything was shiny and clean. The room was roomy enough for the 2 of us and the carpet looked like we were the first to walk on it. The bathroom was very nice if a tad small, but plenty of counter space for both of us. Bed and linens were very comfortable.
