Renovated rooms in the hotel are very nice,-although a bit small. Location is perfect for Epcot/food and wine guests. Staff attentive and accommodating. Kids pool slide closes at 6. Non-renovated rooms in East wing have a musty smell.
They charge extra for a "clean" bed and they make you wait if you want a clean, newer room. They try to upcharge you if you want a good view.Service is non-existent. My 91 year mother fell and no one cared or assisted. The worst experience ever
The hotel looked great for USA. Most USA hotels fall short in comparison to international 4 star hotels. The rooms looked brand new and views were great. Enjoyed food and wine festival. Staff at hotel were extremely friendly. No breakfast included for the price. I'm more disappointed by Kayak and booking.com for the price I paid for the rooms. Thought I was getting the best price but I happenened to ask if I wanted to spend another night on my last night there. I was quoted a price that was $100 less than what I was paying already. The manager started the sentence that his price might be more than booking.com. Boy was I shocked that his price was about $100 less per room.
The staff was very friendly. They have a 24 hour shout with a nice selection of food, bakery items, coffee, and snacks for the inbetween hours. They have a shuttle to the Disney resorts available to guest which makes it very convenient if you're not on a schedule. The room felt dirty, especially the bathroom. Outdated but trying to be new and improved.
Nice location, most convenient for Disney Springs area; perhaps the only true advantage over other hotels in the area. Average to below for facility, quite dated in the room. about 25% greater than other facilities in the area and parking/cost was an issue... the gate/payment machine was difficult and could not produce a receipt.
Room was good, Bed was comfortable and relaxing for me, though my wife complained about it. Bathroom had two sinks, which was nice. Reception, Concierge, Restaurant, all were professionally managed and was impeccable. The TV was dated. Rather low def. Only showed cable and the remote was hard to operate. It was not interactive so I could not see the hotel charges on the screen.
The boat ride from the hotel to Epcot, boardwalk, and Hollywood Studio's. Our reservations were for the Swan hotel but when we arrived we were told we were at the Dolphin hotel. We asked why we were there our reservations were for the Dolphin hotel. We were advised we must have read the confirmation wrong. The woman at the Dolphin hotel asked if we had the confirmation. I pulled it up on my phone and she confirmed it showed the Swan. She asked if she could make a phone call. She made the phone call in front of us and advised the person on the other end what I had and what their system showed. She was told we were supposed to be at the Swan and they corrected it in their system. The lady apologized and said that she could check us in but we would have to get our key's from the Swan because their systems were different. When we came back the bellhop that was going to assist us with our bags said very sarcastically, "ladies you are at the wrong hotel. I will tell you very slowly how to get there." We told him that we went to the Dolphin and they found that we were supposed to be at the Swan. He told us he would assist us with our bags once we got our keys. When we turned around he ducked into the back and a different bellhop advised us that he went on break so he would assist us. The room we were in smelt like mildew and we were advised that there were no other rooms available.
Staff was very helpful and friendly. We received a free upgrade to a suite, which was elegant and huge! We loved the swan! Nothing!
