Cost of breakfast seemed a bit much.
Restaurant staff was very happy and upbeat. Very friendly. Air conditioner did not work. I kept setting it lower and lower, had to turn it to 61 before it kicked in. Wasn't' that hot out. I am not usually hot either. Also, very poor lighting. Would be nice if vanity had better lighting (for makeup). Had to pay for internet. Says it is free. That is a joke! Couldn't connect, so ended up paying $4.95 a day! Check in clerk didn't even say hello or thank you. I might has well been standing at an ATM! I have never been treated so coldly at a hotel. Was not busy, I was only one in lobby. Girl wasn't rude just typical millennial. Just asked me my name, and took info. I should have texted here maybe? LOL...geez. Use to be you said Thank You ( as in---Thank you that because you stayed here I have a job!). I am tired of having to accept zombie attitutes from millennials.
We were very happy with how clean or room was. The only complaint I have is the pillows are horrible! !
Location felt decently off the beaten path and safe, but close enough to both Flint and Flushing. Furniture was very nice and bed was comfortable. Room smelled a bit funny
The staff were nice enough and the breakfast was standard. The refrigerator and air conditioning in the room didn't work The room was hot and uncomfortable both were on the coolest setting and barely worked, the fitness room was in dangerous disrepair.

Whenever we use the Flint airport (which often is cheaper than Detroit), we stay at the Hampton Inn. It's a fantastic place. In our most recent stay, we checked in at 10:40 p.m. and needed to go to the airport. The shuttle wasn't running at that time but one of the staff members got it and brought me to the airport, even though it would have extended past the end of his shift. Excellent service! It's often the most expensive place to stay in Flint. I'll pay the extra for the great experience, though.
Nothing. I never stayed and received no refund. Called an 800 number and was denied. I never stayed because they didn't have any jacuzzi rooms left. Your site said whirlpool in room. They had none left, and Hampton said they could cancel on their end and apologized, but said I was on my own for a refund with you guys. I have booked Kayak rooms many times, and never had issues. Just threw $130 down the drain without a refund. If you can't rectify this I will be forced to never use your site.
This a a newly renovated hotel. It is very nice inside, and the staff is friendly. It is clean and a nice place to stay. When I visit the area again I will make sure to stay in this hotel again.

The staff at this hotel really knows how to treat there guests. There breakfast bar hotess is #1 Keep it up...\nHotel looks as if it was just renovated. Beds are new and BEST night sleep in any hotel so far on them. \n
the night staff (Drea) went out of her way to ensure my comfort. I was traveling because of a funeral that was out of state and her compassion blew me away. when i arrived back into MI my flight was delayed until 10 minutes prior to the last shuttle back to the hotel. she went out of her way to ensure i got to the hotel safely and that I had all the amenities necessary. I ran a resort for 5 years and i would have loved to have her on my staff. She truly cares about the guests and it shows! this hotel is in need of new carpet, drywall repair, tub and toilet replacements (all 3 rooms which i entered had leaking showers/tubs) couldn't stay in one room due to a noisy fridge, another room was missing the glass in the microwave. all rooms still smelled of cigarette smoke and michigan hasn't allowed smoking in hotel rooms in a long time. replacement of carpets would end this smokey smell. the eggs and sausage served at breakfast were awful (need a better quality precooked sausage and eggs).
The room was clean and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful!! The pool was working but the hot tub was broken. There were a lot of people smoking right outside the site entrance we used to get to our room and my brother in law was approached by a woman asking if he "needed any company for the night." She left once we informed the authorities were going to be called.
location early church bellowing inconfernece room woke us up asked for late checkout. maid woke us up at 9am. told her we requested late checkout to let 2yo sleep from staying up late at funeral. She said I had to inform her directly. Really??? Took 35 minutes to check in with no line- front desk said computer system was down
