location, ease of getting around, close to freeway and shopping, beautiful lobby, wonderful pools the hotel is only about a year old and the carpet in my room was unravelling, and stained. The pools could have been cleaned better, tiles needed scrubbing. Because I was there in the off season, June 8, pool ran out of towels, limited staff in bar.

Brand new. Pool is aewsome! Gym was very good. The sports bar and staff were great! For a Sheraton, the hotel needs to 'tighten' up their game. No pools towels available twice. Coffee stains on the tile left for 3 days. Just seems petty, but real close to be top notch!

Friendly bartender at the pool! Several hotel staff members were not friendly at all.
Parking was a little strange, located in Riverview Park the parking is shared by park users. Also if you don't want your car watered don't park by the grass areas.
It was close to eateries and shopping centers and the room was roomy. Nice walk in shower with great water pressure. Close to freeways. The staff had welcoming attitudes but it seemed like they needed training. The carpet in our room was stained.
The location was perfect for us. Close to the ball park and easy access to 2 major highways.
We booked a King Jr Suite and it was beautiful. Large rooms and very clean. Staff was very quick at getting or fixing whatever was needed or wrong. Beautiful location. Housekeeping wasn't the best. They didn't wipe down counters, refill coffee bar, leave water or vacuum. They did make the bed and leave clean towels. We had to call housekeeping 3 different times to come back. Bathroom needs more light, very dim.
Overall it was in a great area and really nice. Room was a long walk to get to for us.
Fast check-in, courteous staff, great location.
Strange parking situation but not bad
Excellent room for the price.
My room was next to the pool, the rooms were a good size, staff was amazing, was given late checkout until 1:30 for no charge, the golf terraine is gorgeous, there were other families there on Saturday which made it nice for my daughter to play, pool was very clean, there are 2 pools, the smaller pool is nicer, pool is open late, hot tubs are large, store across the street, lots of restaurants around, no bedbugs. Hot tub wasn't working by large pool, furniture in room is from 1967 and smells accordingly, rooms feel like a mix between a skanky motel and retirement home, the whole place feels like a retirement home, I went to the restaurant and it was gross, waitress was very rude to me and I left, rooms don't feel very secure, some really shady looking guests, towels are nasty, purchased Lysol wipes and wiped down my ENTIRE room after I was told my room was non refundable, it was filthy, including the toilet, bed very uncomfortable, there was blood on my sheets.
No continental breakfast as promised
Course is fun to play. The staff was friendly and went out of their way to please. Prime rib was excellent and the restaurant staff was very efficient and nice. The resort was built in 1960, so things are a little dated, but they are working on upgrades all the time. The kitchenette is a great option for the people who don't like to eat out every night! P.S. Don't eat the oranges on the trees they are an ornamental variety and YUCK!!!
Location close to venues and restaurants Staff asked for us to write a good review if we enjoyed everything. It's their job to make me want to write a good review. After many years on customer service I found it very tacky that managment asked me to write a good review
The hotel was well below the style portrayed in the pictures I saw on the internet. The website said there was free wireless internet in the rooms, which in fact was charged 6.95 per day for said internet usage. I will not be staying ath the Arizona Golf Resort ever again. The grounds, and rooms, were not nearly as nice looking as in the website, I truly feel mislead. Also they charged me 6.95 per day for wireless internet usage in my room which was said to be free of charge on the advertised website.
No continental breakfast as promised Hot tub was closed due to repairs the other one was packed so wasn't able to use it.
The room was big and very clean. The kitchenette was a nice amenity, too. The bathroom area was very functional with the shower/toilet in a separate room from the sink and very long counter (loved the counter space!). Although standard in most hotels, having a functioning iron and board that didn't leave a stain on my shirts was a life saver. I am a big coffee drinker. I would've like to see a little more than maxwell house coffee filters for the old style coffee pot. I tried it once and couldn't do it twice. Ended up going out for coffee.
Nothing The service The Customer Service The Reservation Desk
everything was ok, I felt really good, friendly people everywhere, golfing was good. I would come again next year!
I can't remember being more impressed with a hotel compared to this one! My room was HUGE, clean and nicely furnished with a great little fridge/freezer, microwave and the rest of the standard items. In addition to free continental breakfast, they provide a free dinner every night with free tap or bottled beer and wine!!! The pool faces west so you get sun all the way till sunset. The staff was amazingly friendly...a guy got wasted drunk and threw up in the pool so they asked him to leave the pool, and of course he was quite argumentative, but the manager that was escorting him did an incredible job of calming him down and even carried all his stuff (two coolers and more) for him as he walked him back to his room. The front desk was remarkably friendly, and when my flight landed at the nearby airport (Phoenix-Mesa Gateway), I called them to ask for a shuttle pick up, and before I even hung up the phone the driver was pulling up at the curb. Even the housekeepers were awesome and friendly. It's located kitty-corner from a Circle K that is pretty large with a great selection and a Red Box, and within a mile there's shopping of all sorts including a Target, Fry's, Walmart and plenty of restaurants, all of which are reachable by bus, and there's a bus stop right in front of the hotel. Holy WOW I was BEYOND satisfied with this place!!! It would be nice if there was a wider pool deck so that there could be more space between the pool and the fence for lawn chairs so that you could still walk around them, but I made due just fine :)
We went to the hotel while our house is being repaired for mold issues. The Kayak website advertised this hotel as clean but that was not true. The first room we got (108) smelled like smoke from cigarettes and the bathroom smelled like pee. We asked for a different room and they gave us 109. The pillows smelled like human sweat and when we were ready to go to bed we noticed small black particles in the sheets. I felt what I can describe as a bug bite and a red rash developed. We (my two kids and my 8-month pregnant wife) packed as fast as we could and we got out of there.
We went for the water park & got more than we expected for the holiday with extended hours & activities for the children. For an additional amount we could check out later & enjoy the park more. Staff were very courteous. No microwave
The water park is so fun ! There are so many fun things to do there the water slides are awesome! The beds are super comfy too!! There's a resort fee that should just be included in the price but it's for a good reason and the room service is a bit high .
Beautiful balcony view and clean room. No ice machine on every floor.
Enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere... we celebrated our first year anniversary here and the staff was very courteous that we had an upgrade on our room and a bottle of wine given to us for free at your arrival! Excellent location! Restaurant had good quality food just a little overpriced.
How busy the pool area is with kids. I am not sure how they can help adults that are not traveling with kids but I'm sure they would be annoyed with the level of kid noise. I think the parents allow the kids too much freedom with little parent supervision even late at night. I feel they should have curfews for the kids. If you are seated over the bridge you must bring your shoes to the lazy river or your feet will be burned. I feel they should have more entrances to the lazy river to much congestion in one area
We loved our comfortable room. We loved the waterpark. We loved being able to check in a little early. We didn't love not being able to bring a few snacks into the waterpark. They make sure you have to buy them there.
We really enjoyed the Oasis Water Park they had different events going on which made it super fun for the kids. The room was clean, great location close to shops restaurants and more. Plenty of things to do at resort.
rooms and Oasis waterpark menu choices for romm service a little limited
Grounds Family water park Requested newspaper three times - never received - front desk and "grand service" said that paper would be delivered as it was part of " resort fee" which I was required to pay Asked for creamers for coffee in room never delivered TV says you can check out via tv but cannot - line was half hour long Facility is nice but dated and worn Service in bar was understaffed, "free" appetizer (with two drink minimum) never arrived Mandatory $45.00 plus tax resort fee seems excessive considering poor service
Comfortable suites with good beds; lush vegetation; wonderful little swimming pool right across from our suite; restaurant patio dining; a great water park for kids; good gift shop. Furniture somewhat dated; very small bathroom; stained carpet in living room (except for that, the suite was very clean).
This isn't a very romantic resort. Too many places for families and not enough places for romance DO NOT LIKE THE EXTRA CHARGE AT THE DESK OF $49 FOR WHATEVER. I WAS CHARGED AN ADDITIONAL $110 WHICH $55 IS REIMBRUSED AFTER SO MUCH TIME. CHARGE WHAT YOU WILL AND LEAVE IT AT THAT. WE COME FOR THE SLIDES & LAZY RIVER LIKE EVERYONE ELSE. BUSINESS MAYBE DIFFERENT.
The room was very clean and beautifully designed. I loved the flat screen TV and fold out couch. Also, the wireless internet was easy to use and the continental breakfast was simple and tasteful.
The hotel was great, and spacious. there is a convenience of a few shopping plazas nearby, but no sounds, it was quiet and enjoyable. I loved it!
The room was great! Very clean and comfortable. Nice location. The breakfast was suppose to run until 10am but on one of my mornings the staff was cleaning by 930am.
The hotel is modern and new, and the staff is very friendly. There are also some shops and restaurants nearby.
Great layout of rooms, modern and clean rooms, great location, and excellent business services... Breakfast service not quite as good as other Hyatt Place....coffee was not good.
Nothing The beds are uncomfortable, no locks on restroom, no clean towels by the pool, TV channel were minimal, didn't have extra pillows when asked, bed sheets were stained, elevator was too slow and towels had a bad odor.
Nothing to like here. The staff was not helpful. The facilities were run down. They were charging way too much for what it is!! Do not be fooled!!!
Friendly, well maintained, pet friendly. Liked everything.
Nothing Upon our arrival and check in, we were assigned a room on the fifth floor. Having brought a number of items for family members, we needed to unload our vehicle as the Motel is located in a high crime area; full of abandoned buildings which previously housed Night Clubs, Pubs, Movie Theaters, Restaurants, and Strip Malls. I went in search of a luggage cart to speed and easy the task. Not finding any in the area of the elevator, I returned to the lobby and asked the front desk attendant where they stored them. I was informed they could be anywhere in the Hotel. After searching seven floors, I finally found one outside in the parking area. It was the one, and only one for the entire Hotel. Next problem we encountered was when I flushed the stool in the bathroom and water sprayed out from between where the tank sets on the bowl. I notified the front desk of the problem, and following repeated notifications to the front desk of the leak, it was repaired on the fourth day of our stay. During our stay, the fire alarm went off three times resulting in our evacuating the Hotel down five flights. The Hotel was undergoing major repairs due to the roof leaking and major water damage to dry wall in many areas of the Hotel. The quality of the Continental Breakfast was very poor and second rate. We went out for breakfast after the first morning.
We stayed in this hotel for 5 nights. It was our worst hotel experience ever. On the 3rd night, around midnight, the fire alarms in the entire hotel went off. The entire hotel was evacuated, seemingly because someone had burned popcorn. On our 4th night, we noticed the sink was filling with water and black sludge while the faucet was NOT on. We alerted hotel management, they did not have someone to fix it until morning and did not have a king size bed to move us to. By the morning, the entire bathroom floor was flooded. Somehow that morning at 7am, they "located" another king size room to move us to. Once we arrived in the second room, we noticed that the flushing mechanism for the toilet was completely busted. We alerted management again and expressed our extreme displeasure. Their response to us, " Well it's a hotel. Things break." The hotel is 15 years old. Terrible, terrible stay, Upon speaking with the management upon leaving, they offered to comp 1 night and that's it. Lovely, NOT.
