The Arcade is a beautiful Hotel. Staff are courteous and knowledgeable about their facility and surrounding amenities. Centrally located, making everything you want to do in walking distance. First stay was perfect. Great room, extremely comfortable bed, and perfect view of 4th St., cannot complain. Second stay....room was dated, carpet appeared to have water damage, bed was old with ruts and was extremely stiff. Called to ask possibly change rooms and were shot down. I understand hotels fill up fast, especially during big events in downtown Cleveland. However, don't ask me my room preference through email four months in advance and again at the front desk when your going to ignore or know you have no intentions of accommodating a single preference. Just be honest and up front about availability.
There was a lovely gentleman working the front desk who was able to let us check in early. It was a huge help to us considering we had been traveling for over 10 hours with no sleep. The room was very nice; my only complaint would be that there are no fridges available in the rooms.
Staff friendly n professional, elevator wouldnt take us to 12th floor only to 10th floor had to take steps up too room to unload bags. Had to go to front desk and ask why elevator would take us up to correct floor. Also drinks at bar for two beers 12 dollars pricy,and heard motors running outside room all night

We enjoyed the location. Also the lobby was decorated beautiful for Christmas. To get our room cleaned we had to ask specifically for it...2 separate times. There were wet towels molding in the floor before we got someone to come clean.
Everybody that worked there was very nice. The front desk helped me immediately. Very nice place to stay. If I ever come back to Cleveland, this will be my first choice to stay Nothing. everything was great!
Overall the hotel was very nice. The beds and pillows were super comfortable and the location was really convenient to most of the downtown attractions. There were some really huge drawbacks though. Most of the hotel smelled like bleach. While I appreciate the cleanliness, the smell was overwhelming. The biggest issue I had was the wifi. I like to use my iPad before bed but the wifi was so poor and so slow I didn't have the chance. Also, you have to pay for using over 510 KB, which is kind of ridiculous. The breakfast bar is a total rip off, the food is stale and dry and flavorless. Skip this and grab something to eat at the grocery store down the block. Finally, the staff seems really uninterested in making you feel welcome. The waitresses at the breakfast bar were more concerned with their phones, and the front desk was rather cold.
Front desk was very friendly and quick to get us checked in and out. Parking was very expensive.
The bellmen were outstanding with holding our luggage in storage while we waited 2+ hours for our car at check-out on new years day. They were what made an otherwise unpleasant experience tolerable and actually enjoyable. The valet service was horrible. The wait was long yet tolerable because of the westin's staff and pleasantness. The valet staff had 8 people standing around the podium (not moving or running any cars) sitting there cursing in front of guests during a verbal argument- very off-putting.
Cleanliness and layout of rooms. No breakfast included with stay. No garbage can in bathroom or recycling in room period.

The location was perfect for our use and the staff was very helpful. The room could have used a better cleaning. There were cobwebs in the corners and on the curtains.
Location was close to what we needed. Staff was super friendly. Sheets were dirty. No reasonable parking. No breakfast amenity.
