The Vineyard Mansion was built, in 1890, by the famed architectural firm of Eckel and Mann for B. R. Vineyard, a prominent attorney in St. Joseph, MO. Although divided into apartments in the 1940's, this Romanesque Revival style mansion has been meticulously restored back to its original use. We are proud to offer the Crown Room, a unique alternative to a hotel room, offering the privacy and comfort of a home away from home, enveloped in the grandeur and elegance of the Gilded Age. The cozy Crown Room features original hardwood floors, a queen-size bed, seating area, radiator heat, window air conditioner and use of the hall bathroom. The hall bathroom was specifically designed for the use of this room. No other guests use this bathroom but it may get used on occasion by the host. Additionally, the room is filled with beautiful, antique furnishings, hardware, and treasures, as well as period-appropriate art. Guests of the Vineyard Mansion enjoy access to the public areas of the main house, including the rear parlor to watch TV, dining room, kitchen and foyer, as well as the gardens/grounds. Breakfast is self-serve, so feel free to go to the kitchen any time you want. We stock breakfast items and coffee in the food pantry off the kitchen, please help yourself. We stock yogurt, juices, eggs, cheese, almond milk, etc. in the refrigerator so please don’t be shy and help yourself. If you would like to make yourself a special breakfast by-all-means do so. We try to create a home away from home with the way we do things here, so if you want to make dinner or cookies go right ahead. If you want privacy or interaction we can accommodate both. We are also happy to provide guests with a brief tour and history of the property. The Vineyard Mansion is located in the Museum Hill Historic District of St Joseph, MO. This neighborhood is full of homes and mansions all built in the late 1800's, with walking tours and the St. Joseph Museum directly across the street. The Vineyard Mansion is within walking-distance of several restaurants, bars, event centers, historic sites, and museums. The Vineyard Mansion is 11,000 sq ft of building area. We are still in the process of restoration and are offering room rates at a discounted restoration rate. So if you like to see the work in progress this is the place for you. - Please be respectful of other guests and neighbors. - No outside guests allowed.

This charming 2-bedroom home is beautifully decorated and offers many great amenities including stylish furnishings and appliances (stove, dishwasher, refrigerator, microwave, washer/dryer, etc). It's located just off the Belt Highway near I-29 and 36 Highway. You’ll love my place because of the coziness, the cleanliness, the amenities, the quiet street, off-street parking, etc. As a host, I enjoy meeting new people! I love hosting visitors to St. Joseph and will do everything I can to make sure your stay is comfortable and enjoyable! Because I am a "clean freak" myself, I am very particular about the cleanliness of my places. We do all of the cleaning ourselves (after all, no one can do it to meet my high standards!). I provide amazing amenities like wonderful decor, complimentary high-speed Wifi, hair dryer, cooking utensils, shampoo, soap, laundry detergent, iron & ironing board, coffee and coffee maker, washer & dryer, dishwasher, smart TVs, and so much more! All of our properties are very close to restaurants, shopping, grocery stores, and more. In addition, our properties are located near Mosaic Life Care hospital and Missouri Western State University. You can also enjoy music, news, weather, and tons of information with the Amazon Echo (Alexa)! There's one in each room! She's installed and ready to serve you! VERY SAFE AND SECURE AREA! Our properties are located in very safe and secure neighborhoods. All are in the “newer” part of town, east of the Belt Highway. To give you added security and peace of mind, all of our properties are equipped with a user-friend security alarm system which you control from a key fob that we provide to you upon check-in. In addition, outdoor video surveillance provides you with the extra comfort of safety and security (video surveillance is on the OUTSIDE of the property ONLY). You’ll rest well at one of our properties! WHAT ABOUT PETS? Unfortunately, we do not accept pets on our properties. We LOVE animals, however, in order to be fair and consistent from guest to guest, we've had to adopt a "no pets" policy. In addition to the possibility of a pet soiling the carpet or causing some damage, pets can leave a dander behind that future guests may be allergic to. Because we want ALL of our guests to enjoy a clean, non-allergenic environment, this is another reason we don't allow pets in our properties. Thank you for understanding! PROPERTY ACCOMMODATIONS: Please note that this is a two-bedroom property complete with a very nice and comfy queen-size beds in the master bedroom and secondary bedroom. This property is suitable for no more than four guests (including children/infants). This neighborhood is full of homes and mansions all built in the late 1800's, with walking tours and the St. Joseph Museum directly across the street. The Vineyard Mansion is within walking-distance of several restaurants, bars, event centers, historic sites, and museums. The Vineyard Mansion is 11,000 sq ft of building area. We are still in the process of restoration and are offering discounted room rates at a restoration special. Kommen Sie und entspannen Sie sich im Emma Room im historischen Vineyard Mansion. Dieses Anwesen wurde 1890 von dem berühmten Architekturbüro Eckel und Mann für B. R. erbaut. Vineyard, der ein prominenter Anwalt in St. Joseph. Obwohl es in den 1940er Jahren in Apartments aufgeteilt wurde, wurde es kürzlich wieder in seinen ursprünglichen Zustand versetzt und wir sind nun bereit, Gäste zu begrüßen, um die Pracht des Goldenen Zeitalters zu genießen. Der Namensgeber dieses Zimmers ist die Frau des ursprünglichen Eigentümers. Als Matriarchin des Hauses haben wir unserer größten Unterkunft ihren Namen gegeben. Das Emma Zimmer verfügt über ein wunderschönes Kingsize-Bett mit luxuriöser Bettwäsche, einen eleganten Sitzbereich und einen Kamin. Dieses Zimmer ist von traditionellen weiblichen Wünschen inspiriert und verfügt über mehrere Kleiderschränke, darunter ein begehbares Bad, ein antikes Waschbecken im Sockelstil und eine verführerische Badewanne mit Löwenfüßen, die den idealen Raum zum Tränken und Entspannen bieten. Die Vineyard Mansion Liegenschaft befindet sich im Museum Hill Historic District, einem Viertel von St. Joseph ist bekannt für seine atemberaubenden Häuser aus der viktorianischen Zeit. Ein Spaziergang durch die Nachbarschaft bietet dem Betrachter wunderschöne Beispiele für Architektur im Italianate-, Second Empire-, Queen Anne-, Tudor Revival-, American Foursquare- und Bungalow- / Craftsman-Stil.
