The Garden area first floor rooms. Extremely loud and late hours. Avoid those rooms if looking for rest
While the place was nice, I was most impressed with the staff. They were very friendly and helpful. There are many homeless people in the area and it's not very safe to go out at night.
The gym was not too bad. Extremely unprofessional front desk teams. Called me at 09.30 pm to come down and pay the bill because I was checking out the next day. I spend 200 nights in hotels all over the world. Never made such an experience before.
the staff they do a good job. the service at the restaurant the best. the look of the interiors they try to hard trying to look well, but everything looks fake bad finish. the shawre leeks the barroom smells bad and the carpet and floors cheap.
Because it is very confortable, and it is in a good place and accesible to the mall
Very nice new hotel close to downtown area and major streets. Good restaurant and hotel located in a strip shopping center with several really great restaurants. Nice experience.
The hotel was a complete chaos.Getting an elevator to my floor was always an ordeal. The card key failed constantly and I could not communicate with any other family that was staying in the same hotel but on a differ floor. I had to dial front desk first.
The cleanliness of the rooms, food, security, and service.
This is my first time staying at a Novotel in Mexico and I was pleasantly surprised, this is a great hotel for business with prime location near restaurants and shopping in the border between upscale neighborhood of San Pedro and Monterrey.
Staff friendly and always helpfull. They close the pool for one day, because of one event.
I liked the security that my car was not in the open and limited access to the parking garage That the hotel was so hard to find
This is not a 4 star hotel. Maybe in a fifth world country. The hallways are uncomfortably hot. I doubt they use the air conditioning. It took three days and numerous calls to get an ice bucket with no lid and the size of a martini shaker. Carpeting is so inferior and poorly installed there are waves of air under foot-needs to be stretched. Checked in and waited 20 minutes for a manager because the desk clerk said are printed reservation was not what they had recieved from booking agent. They cannot DO ANYTHING without a manager who is never at the desk and is 'busy' elsewhere. Walls are paper thin-you could hear the TV next door. Poorly managed. One big ugly motel posing as a 4 star premise. WORST hotel experience in my life. No offers of compensation not gesture of goodwill. RUN to the Quinta Real across the street- they know property management. The Camino Real is run by robots who seek only the bottom line. Come to think of it the bottom is where they are at. Furnishings are retrea...
One of the hotel restaurants, Kyo, has a great asian fussion cousine menu. Front desk staff lost my reservation, they didnt help me to improve my new years eve experience by not offering me other services that i could pay them as combo, they charge every service separely, i dont recommend this hotel because the lack ofservice.
The other reviewer got it right. I didnt listen. You could try the SAFI across the street but skip the Intercontinental and the NH. SAFI has a fantastic buffet breakfast and Id try that one the next time I go. It couldnt be any worse than spending 2 weeks in the Camino Real. PS: Absolutely nothing works right!
