That it was close to the consulate Everything staff was rude, they had bed bugs.Staff wanted to hook up with customers there when they traveled alone. 6/6/15
It's location is the best. It was close to everything. I felt very safe. The staff was very friendly. Very inexpensive. Great value for my money. Very few amenities. I had to open the window because the AC was not turned on. But it was great for the price.
Nothing, bad service. Nothing, bad service.
The staff was very friendly and helpful. The facility was very nice and comfortable. Safe parking lot as well and safe property. Access to the hotel is a little difficult as the streets to cross are very high traffic areas without proper signals or traffic control.
Very unclean, beds very uncomfortable, no hot water, beds were stinking and not clean with some ugly liquid spoiled over the sheds. This is my last time I will visit this hotel.
All ladies front desk great the guy in front desk rude security great people very helpful The guy in front desk not very helpful very rude
i like the closeness to the consulate and everything you need for your visa The wifi didn't work as you expect it. The breakfast wasn't impressed they didn't change the menu. There van wasn't available until I left.
Staff was awesome and Accomodating. When we had to extend our stay for unseen circumstances, they easily extended our reservation and let us pay per night. Several that we met during our stay said that it was the best hotel within walking distance of the consulado. If you get tired of Mexican food (we did), there's a Texas ribs place on the same corner. Real food (not deep fried) prepared in an American style. Yay! Definitely check out the bar recoveco in the hotel for a quiet place to hide in the afternoons when you need to get out of the room. The outdoor patio is wonderful on breezy nights with a pina colada or margarita. A little confusion in pulling up the booking from booking.com when I called ahead to confirm. Not all the consierge have access to those who booked online. The pool is a little TOO warm for my tastes. Restaurant Service can be slow at times, so be sure to not be in a rush. .
This is my second time staying at the hotel. The staff is very nice and the hotel is clean. The morning breakfast is very poor. The hours are only 7-9 a.m. If you are on vacation or you were out late the night before, you will miss the breakfast. When I was there the first time, which was in February 2016, the breakfast was better. Now it isn't worth it. The food is poor quality and minimal selection. Also, the hot tub in the pool area wasn't working.
This was false advertised as being in America and I didn't stay there because I had to rebook a hotel that was in AMERICA. I want my money back. It's not in El Paso which is what I typed in. Beware.
excellent buffet staff is very friendly and accommodating , room quality is outstanding very clean. the buffet is billed separately it is not included with most reservations not a big deal onsite it was 234 pesos
Bed was very comfortable, and overall room was very clean. Great presentation. We ordered room-service and the food was outstanding! The bellboys were awesome, very helpful and friendly (can't say the same about the rest of the staff) The gardens and pool are beautiful, clean, and family friendly. Jacuzzi was cold, had to ask for it to be turned on however after about an hour it was only a bit warm. Also having to leave an ID to borrow towels for the pool/Jacuzzi I thought was odd and felt a sense of distrust from the hotel. The vent in the restroom was not working, I mention this to the cleaning lady and she said simply that there was no air available in the restroom. The staff was courteous but not as friendly as I would expect, I have previously stayed in Hotel Maria Bonita and the staff there was much friendlier, no matter where we turned all the staff would say hello and asked if they could be of assistance. In Lucerna we had to ask for any help, some of the staff didn't even acknowledge our presence.
Clean, is within walking distance to everything you need if your going to consulate Breakfast could be better
Excellent breakfast ALWAYS full, so make sure you have a reservation.
I highly recommend this hotel because the staff is super polite and courteous. Our hotel room was clean and its location is great; its walking distance from the american consulate, restaurants, and a shopping mall. My wife and I enjoyed our stay at microtel. Our room smelled funky, the breakfast was OK, I paid close to $400 dollars not pesos but dollars for 5 days. Which I thought was a little steep.
