I didn't even stay there and couldn't get refund.
Comfortable beds, and very clean rooms - very friendly and quick staff. Bathrooms look newly renovated Pool facing rooms are very loud in the morning as hotel is very family oriented. Hot tub is barely above body temperature... Showers look very modern but have pressure issues Continental breakfast not included with kayak rates
The pool and hot tub area were very nice. Big pool. Rooms were clean but very small. Beds were very comfortable The hallways and front desk area were shabby looking. Fraying around the edges. Rooms small and needs updating.
Location was great to get to the fair but definitely could use an upgrade. Pool was very chlorinated and poorly lit. Breakfast was okay.
My booking didn't go through so I had to upgrade and pay more (Hotels.com is to blame); changed rooms three times because I did not feel safe in the first two rooms which both had adjoining doors; phone was broken in one of the rooms; very shady customers; the deadbolt didn't even have a hole to connect in and therefore, regarded it completely useless; at least the girl at the front was helpful but only because I kept asking for other rooms.
Well kept condition,breakfast,pool area No
We were disappointed with the free breakfast bar. Orange juice dispenser didn't work ... apple juice dispenser had some troubles. Fruit to put on yogurt was frozen. Meat wasn't fully cooked. Sadly, it was a disappointing breakfast experience for us.

A very homey feel. I liked having real glass for our coffee mugs and drinking glasses. Furnishings, bedding and towels were worn and dated. We felt as though we were an inconvenience when we checked in. That was a turn off. The rest of the staff were very attentive and pleasant. We did not par-take in breakfast.
Close to the trans Canada as well as services. Friendly and helpful staff, clean up to date rooms. Meets everything I'm looking for after a long day of driving.
We liked leaving! And we learned how low the standards can be and still keep the 'Comfort Inn' name. The bathrooms renovation was nice. No elevator and surcharges for first floor access. Built in the 70's and shows it. 'King' bed was not 'King' sized. Needed a coupon to get access to eggs at breakfast. This must be what happens when you try to run on a shoestring budget. If it had not been past cancellation time for our reservation, we would have moved to another chain next door. Worst Comfort Inn we have ever stayed at. The Recent renovations seem restricted to the bathrooms.
