central location, ok price, free breakfast and free wired internet a bit noisy since it's located on Main street and doesn't have sound-proof windows
proximity to downtown
Everyone was very friendly and willing to go above and beyond to make sure I was satisfied. The room had a warm feel to it and even though located in the midst of downtown it was a quiet stay.
The hotel was very clean. Our suite was spacious and the bed was comfortable with very nice linens and pillows. The parking was very convenient, there were always spaces available, and it was free. The ridiculously high taxes in Canada.
price location is a bit run down(area surrounding hotel)
We really appreciated how clean our room was kept. This was our first time to Winnepeg and the staff was very helpful and friendly. We also liked the location because it was close to so many restaurants and attractions.
They went above and beyond to help us. Traffic was bad in area
Nothing. Both checking in and checking out moved in snail-pace. The bed-sheets looked and smelled tired. I asked for a wake-up call for 4.30am and it came at 4.50 instead. Almost missed my flight out! Everything
The room and hotel premises were absolutely immaculately clean. The restaurant served a good breakfast, with prompt, friendly, and courteous service. The desk staff were friendly and helpful. I had difficulty in getting into my room (Rm 366) when I checked in. It took 3 trips back to the front desk along with my baggage to get the key cards reprogrammed before the hotel manager sorted it all out. There was no house phone on the third floor to call for assistance.
Very convenient meeting rooms, restaurant and launge facilities were close by an other plus. Just the weather that was a weather bomb.
close to the airport with a good shuttle
Liked the shuttle, wish it were a little bigger, only 4 people at a time. Rooms were neat and clean, the restaurant and room service were great. Good value for our money. We like how close we are to the airport, Polo Park and Red Lobster/Olive Garden. Also easy to get in and out of the city from here. Didn't enjoy two false fire alarms less than 12 hours apart, especially since our daughter's family was staying next door with a 3 month old and a 5 yer old and the second fire alarm occurred at 2:30 a.m. I suppose we should be glad the fire alarms worked. Also, the chlorine in the pool was so strong it was hard on the lungs and eyes of both the kids and the adults, it made our son in law nauseous.
they let me stay as your reserve code was not valid and they gave me a room anyway. the uncomfortable feeling that booking.com was not registered with the front desk and they found me a room
This hotel was located right in the heart of downtown just steps from food, gaming, shopping and bars. Rooms were spacious and heated floor in the bathroom was over the top. Skyway connected as well. The only negative I could think of was no fan in the bathroom.
It was attached to the convention center There was not enough parking
My room was very clean. The bed was very comfortable. Elevators fast and quiet. Staff very competent and quick to resolve any problem. Lack of availability of HD television stations - once you get used to viewing HD tv you really miss not having it when travelling away from home.
The responsiveness of the staff to some problems I had was outstanding. While the hotel itself is fairly standard, the attitude of the staff made the difference. I remember nothing about your website but you do not give space to answer that below so I am using this space.
f**kin fire alarm sent my family and i out in the the cold 1:30 AM F**k!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Very comfotable room, excellent restaurant and well laid out business meeting rooms. Staff was very effecient and helpful. The $10 a day charge for high speed internet. This should be part of the cost of the room.
The downtown Winnipeg location. Blazes Bistro. The additional $15 per day parking fees. When you are paying high rates parking should be a free consideration.
Was a great stay. Quiet room. Great balcony that you could actually go on. Love that you can get everything in one hotel. Star bucks, gourmet food, pub food. Great all around!
Nice hotel, room, good restaurant, and very nice staff. Nothing I didn't like.
Room was very comfortable and very quiet. Heard a couple of planes during the night, but not loud for being across the street from the terminal. Biggest drawback was lack of pick up area for ride to pick you up from the hotel. Driver has to park in public parking near the hotel then walk through another hotel to get into the Grand Winnipeg. Don't forget to have them get their parking validated.
Friendly staff, well appointed room and convenient to the Airport
Beautiful rooms, floor to ceiling windows, fridge, keurig, 50 steps to the airport so no need for a rental vehicle, The Blue Marble restaurant in the hotel was outstanding. ...best pancakes you will ever eat. Excellent room value, runway view. Nope...I would highly recommend it.
