*New and modern
*Close to the canal downtown
*Good selection of items to purchase at the front desk
*USB outlets by the bed
*Large walk-in closet
*Wifi worked great. We were able to watch a movie on Netflix on the iPad with no problems.
*The layout of the room is SO WEIRD! The toilet is completely separate from the shower and both are awkward. We were in a double queen room and the toilet room was at the foot of the one of the beds with only a sliding door with "frosted" glass for privacy. I think the wrong glass was used on our room because you could totally see what anyone was doing in there down to the the color of their clothes and facial expressions. There was a tiny sink with a small mirror in the corner, so using the mirror to get ready was impossible. There was no hand towel bar so the only place to put a towel was over on a shelf above the toilet. Also, no hand soap was provided, only bar facial soap. I don't typically interchange hand and facial soap so it seemed weird not to have hand soap. The shower room was at the foot of the other bed with another sliding door. This door offered more privacy but still it's weird that you can't use the bathroom and then take a shower without walking out in front of the people you're staying with and going into the other room. It's like the designer was trying too hard to be modern and failed.
*I like that there was breakfast and the selection was ok but I was disappointed it was pretty much the same thing all 3 days. Scrambled eggs, bacon/sausage, and seasoned potatoes. There was also a waffle maker out 2 of the days and a selection of cereal/oatmeal with toppings, bagels, toast, muffins, coffee, etc.
