ZImmer sehr gut, nettes Personal, Preis-Leistung stimmte hervorragend, gute Ambiance. Nein.
No doubt, the best place to stay around the Diamond Head; dolphins living just next to the swimming pool being one of the unique "staffs" of the stay.
The staff and growns are amazing The dolidpin and turtle tanks, way to small for them to live
Kahala is located close enough to the city action yet far enough away where it's remote. Though the pool area was relatively small, it was never crowed. The dolphin lagoon and sea turtle exhibit was quite amazing. Beach was also gorgeous and calm. No complaints about the Kahala. Would definitely visit again. Wish there was good snorkeling right around there but that's asking for too much!!
Private beach means it is never overcrowded. Friendly, professional staff. Dolphin Lagoon a must experience for kids. Big, comfortable room with comfortable bed, nice bath amenities. All toilets have a bidet, which is a nice surprise. Beautiful grounds and atmosphere. Above average humidity for this time of year. We were told it was due to the El Nino from winter. Small pool (and number of chaise lounges) that can get crowded quickly. Food from the Seaside Grill and Plumeria is overpriced and okay, at best. Drinks overpriced, but tastes great.
Great hotel when traveling with kids. I could eat breakfast and keep an eye on them as they were making sand castles. No beach on Waikiki would be this safe for kids as they're too crowded. The mattress was just awful!
Perfect facility for people who do not want to stay in Waikiki
It was an amazing holiday, the staff were so friendly & welcoming. The room well laid out & everything extemely comfortable. The restaurants we tried were exceptional.
The dolphin experience! Shopping! Need more buses to shops
Great location with great views. iPad in the the room was a cool touch Considering the cost of getting a room at Moana Surf, I expected the room facilities could be upgraded (ie...shower and other parts of bathroom
The pool is very small, opens late and closes early. The beach umbrellas $50 a day and also close too early. One or the other should be open at least till sunset.
The staff were incredible and helped so much. Our flight was leaving late at night and they let us use a hospitality room to shower and get cleaned up before we left for the air port. The staff at the restaurants on property were fantastic, epically Omar at The Beach House. It's a quiet gem in crazy Waikiki. Nothing.
From the moment I walked in the door, I fell in love with the old beach vibe. The understated luxury just oozed from the place. The staff was amazing and always attentive to our needs from dinner plans at check in, offering a hospitality suite after check out because we had a late flight. Truly amazing experience and 100% worth the price tag!
The location and retention of the old architectural features in the lobby. The rooms were average at best for a Westin. Everything was a bit dated.
I loved it all. Room was comfortable. Great location. Beautiful hotel.
Pretty much Everything! Pool and beach seating was very limited
Everything was first class, from check in to check out. Very nice to have the complimentary Beach Club. It's a no hassle, take care of guest resort. Once inside and on beach, you do not know the hustle and bustle of Waikiki exists
The food was excellent The bed was very comfortable The room was very clean The front desk staff were on top of it The room was over-priced for its size and location/view The hostess at the restaurant told us we had to wait 30 min for lunch sitting but didn't tell us we should have made a reservation so when we lined up at noon she told us we'd have to wait another 30 min Too much furniture in my hallway. Not elegant
Location was amazing. Staff were very friendly! Pool is not the nicest.
The location Was getting kicked out of my room,
Location, amenities and the bars A little dirty and dated
My wife fell, while holding our daughter, while getting into the pool on a very slippery first step. Two other guests told us about their similar experience during their stay. It was our first day of our vacation and my wife spent the week with a bruised spine and a big scratch. The Aston took pictures of her injury but did nothing about it.
Good location. yeah, that's it. and there's tons of other hotels on the beach. I would elsewhere other than Aston brand seeing how they're managed. Staff was not organized and not caring. They gave key to our room to other guests. I don't know if it's good or bad we were in the room at the time. Assuming they only did it once. A hotel employee even tried to let people in. Hint - new, empty rooms don't have the Do Not Disturb sign hanging on the door. They called us twice after 11PM trying to sort out their mistake in booking.. I complained to staff, no reaction. When i was checking out, they didn't ask how my stay was, otherwise i would've complained again. BTW, there were 4 workers just standing there when i checked out, so it's not like they were rushed. Small gym, small pool, big resort fee. Still have to pay $30/night for parking. Make sure you add $60+/day to your expected price your paying. Two sets of keys stopped working at the same time. they claim they both got demagnitized. 2 sets of keys kept in separate places at the exact same time? they screwed up. They didn't clean the room every day, even when empty from 6am-12. Bathroom stank of mildew. Safe didn't close reliably. Hair dryer only worked on 2 of 3 settings. We didn't get our welcome bag of sunscreen until second day of our stay, again pointing out they screwed up in the system. Refrigerator froze all liquids inside, not just in the icebox. No way to adjust it. Lots of drunk biker gang guys at the pool bar at night. They staggered into our private party. They have a weird elevator system where you have to press your room key and punch in the floor outside the elevator. there's no buttons inside. and you can't go from the rooms to the ground level. you have to stop at the 3rd floor in either direction. The first day i was confused and i asked the staff how to get to the ground floor, he told me i had to valet. i said i just want to get to the parking area and he just kept telling me i have to valet and pointed to the lobby. Elevators were broken every night.
