Three bedrooms, 2 full baths with a large soaker jetted tub in the master.  2-car garage is available for guests. Located close to the Sugarloaf Boat Ramp and not far from Tamarack Ski Resort, Ca The entire home and property are available for guest use, except for a detached storage shed. If you'd like to bring a pet, please check with us first. For each approved pet, we do charge a $75 pet fee, per animal. Private cabin on 20 acres.  This home is pet friendly, but pre-approval is required in all instances. Prior to booking, please submit the pet breed, weight and age. For approved pets, there is a fee per pet. Valley County offers free public transportation, but a car is recommended. Please review the policies below, as you are agreeing to these terms when you confirm your reservation. TERMS: To make reservations for lodging, the entire amount of rent is due immediately to confirm the reservation, unless a payment plan was pre-approved. This beautiful, modern cabin is located near Cascade, in Smith's Ferry, just an hour north of Boise and just across the Payette River (east) from the historic Cougar Mountain Lodge Restaurant.  Also nearby is the Cougar Mountain snowmobile parking lot.  It's about a mile walk to the Payette River and the popular Cabarton rafting take out point. 20 minutes north, the town of Cascade features magnificent Lake Cascade, Payette National Forest, the Middle Fork of the Payette River, boutique shops, The entire home and property are available for guest use, with the exception of a locked closet. This amazing cabin is located in Smiths Ferry on the gently sloping hills behind (east) of Cougar Mountain Lodge Restaurant.  Miles of recreation trails, snowpark and the Payette River out the front door. Amazing forest and valley views. A vehicle is recommended. Snow Months: During adverse weather months (not always, but generally December-March/April- review the forecast), it is required that all guests be prepared for the conditions. Four-wheel drive, tire chains and winter tires are required. The road leading to the cabin is private and maintained by a private contractor. If a guest's vehicle becomes stuck, it will be the guests' responsibility to find a local tow company to extract their vehicle(s). We recommend Brown's Towing. If damage is done to the road by guests, and especially due to guests getting stuck, it will be the responsibility of the guest to repair the road. Please review the policies below, as you are agreeing to these terms when you confirm your reservation. The Ponderosa has been a long-time favorite for many Cascade bound vacationers. This cozy cottage sits on five forested acres and has a feeling of seclusion and privacy though it is not far from restaurants, shopping, or a day on Lake Cascade. There is plenty of room for the kids to run around and burn energy while the adults rest and relax on the large back deck. The living area is equipped with a big screen TV and includes beautiful leather furniture. The main floor master bedroom has a queen bed and its own separate flat screen TV, with ensuite bathroom. The second downstairs bedroom has a full size bed. Upstairs there are two twin beds together in an open area and a separate queen bed situated in its own semi-private area. The large deck is a great place to relax and read a book with a cup of coffee or a hot chocolate in the morning. After a day of hiking, biking, horseback riding, river rafting, fishing or playing on the lake you can come back to the Ponderosa and fire up the charcoal barbeque. This home has a two night minimum stay, but some date ranges require a 3 or 4 night stay. Make yourself at home, but please be respectful of locked cupboards and doors that indicate a private space. All of our properties have self-check in via keyless entry or lockbox. Guest access codes and check in information will be sent to guests one week prior to arrival. Parties and events are NOT allowed at this property. Check in is any time after 4PM. Check out is at 10AM. The guest renting this home must be an adult 25 years or older and will be an occupant of the unit during the entire reservation period. This property is subject to all City of McCall ordinances, including those specific to noise levels, occupancy, and safety. All reservations must submit identification and sign the DoneRight Management rental agreement w/in 72 hours of booking. DoneRight Management Vacation Rentals: Your worry-free, DoneRight Management vacation rental is equipped with linens, towels, toiletry items, and kitchen essentials. To start your vacation off right, we've provided a day's worth of supplies, including your morning coffee, paper towels, bathroom tissue, and garbage bags. Also provided where required is propane for gas grills and enough wood for indoor fireplace use during your stay. For properties with a fire pit, guests will need to purchase wood, available at several local stores. Each rental property also includes a guest book with information and tips unique to the home, along with recommendations, local activities and events, local emergency contact information, including how to contact us – we're always just a phone call away. Our office is located at the corner of Park Street and 1st Street in McCall - stop by and say hello! Our office hours are Monday-Friday 9am to 6pm, and Saturdays from 10am to 4:30pm.
