I stayed at Karachi Marriott in March 2008. It was a huge disappointment for me. \nI had a booking for the normal standard room but the receptionist kept on insisting for me to upgrade myself to their executive floor by paying some extra amount. Clearly I wasn't interested but he took 10 mins of my time trying to convince me for no reason. When I finally entered the room, the air conditioning of the room was not working. Had to move to another room then, in which there were no TV remote control. Had to ask for it thrice after which it reached my room after 45 mins.\nAll in all, not a memorable stay & would not like to stay here for my next business trip.\n
I stayed here for 12 days and found it as my second home away from my home. Excellent service and professional staff. I am proud to recommend anyone. Perfect Place to stay
I have stayed at this hotel many times (5-6 trips of a week each). I have always been extremely impressed by the courtesy, hospitality and professionalism. The food is also terrific. In Karachi you have to expect a certain level of background disruption due to power outages, monsoons, street violence, etc. But at the MariottI have confidence that with their backup power systems, security, etc, I will be safe and comfortable. Because of I would rate them higher than the many good hotels I've stayed at in the US. I know they will take care of me even in those little 'emergencies'.
