Room was good and clean, on par with the Marriott properties (Courtyard, Fairfield, Springhill, etc) we normally stay at. We didn't make much use of the resort amenities, but the grounds were well-kept.
Well decorated. Cleaning staff was consistently disappointing. Once they took our towels and forgot to give us any new towels and once the room looked barely touched. Everyday they were bad about coming before 8 am and coming back during the four hour Windows we provided.
Our resort view was of the roof!!!
Due to an emergency we did not get to stay after checking in. We received a call that because of a forest fire threatening our home we didn't get to stay I think a refund of at least 3nights should be in order but that won't happen. I will warn everyone I know to avoid using this agency for bookings.
Beach access and close to shopping, friendly staff We did see a cockroach in the bathroom.
Nice comfortable bed Paid 30 dollars extra for beach view and got one of the parking lot.Way overpriced for this type of hotel.Started with initial price of 199 on kayak and paid close to 300.Much better deals on Hilton Head that I should have pursued.
The rooms and restaurant was an amazing experience
Dog Friendly, although don't bother paying for an ocean view if you have a dog because you will be put on the 1st or 2nd floor and you will not be able to see the beach. I paid for an Ocean View room but my view was at best an obstructed view of the ocean. When I complained, I was moved to another "ocean view room" but I literally could not see any water from that room. Management made no attempt to improve the situation, so I will avoid Omni Hotels from now on. Staff (other than the front desk) are totally foreign and speak poor English; ordering food is quite frustrating.
Jasmine was great. She notice it was our Anniversary and she gave us a wonderful card. Everyone was very nice smiled at us. The grounds outside was beautiful. The workout facility had everything you would need. The shower was heaven. I would remind people to come. It was not that clean. Stains everywhere. In our room our bathroom wall paper wasn't finish. It was an smell in the hallway. No vending machines for snacks. The food was expensive. A can coke was $5. 16 wings and 2 drinks was $60.
Tychelle at Guest Services was excellent. The room, in particular, the bath was excellent. Several excellent quality, local eating places within 1.5 miles of the hotel on Mathews Dr. @ the Bi-Lo shopping center. Plantation Cafe has excellent breakfast & Fiesta Fresh Mexican Grill is excellent low priced Mexican food. There is also Italian Restaurant and an Irish pub. All have excellent Yelp reviews. Appears staff was weary, not very customer focused. Seems they are pushed very hard to upsell the resort/beach view rooms. Very limited/nonexistent guest activities during off season and with construction underway - noisy. Not a good value for $22/day resort fee. Threadbare pool towels, hot tub not clean. No bar service at pool/activities area.
